Welch's had its beginning in 1869 in Vineland, NJ. The company first produced ceremonial wine but has now become reknown for making all kinds of food products made from grapes.

As nearly famous as its jellies, are the Welch's jelly jars. Numerous companies have advertised on these jars, especially film companies such as Disney and Turner (look for those jars under the corporate names).
