Heisey Lariat Saucer

Heisey - Glassware

Heisey Glass was founded in 1895 by Augustus Heisey. The factory was located in Newark, Ohio. Following the death of Augustus, the business was operated by his two sons until it closed in 1957. I have pieces from just four of ltheir many patterns.

Crystolite

Heisey produced Crystolite from 1937 to 1957.

Lariat

The Lariat pattern by Al. H. Heisey & Co. was produced from the 1940s until the plant closure in 1957. It was primarily produced in clear glass but there are rare pieces in black and amber. The pieces have a distinct looped rope-like trim.

Whirlpool

Heisey Whirlpool was produced from 1938 to 1957. It is very similiar to the later Fostoria Moonstone but the base is quite different. After Heisey, Imperial began producing the same pattern in different colors under the pattern name Provincial.
