Ormsby House opened as a hotel and casino in 1972. It is located in Carson City, Nevada. It closed on September 23, 2000, for extensive renovations which are still ongoing.

Ashtrays

Ormsby House ashtrays were purchased from glass manufacturers with its own logo and info on them. These served not only as ashtrays but also as advertisements. The often ended up in patrons coats and purses.
