Scio Pottery - Dinnerware

The Scio Pottery Company was aptly named after its hometown of Scio, Ohio. It began operations in 1932 and ceased manufacturing in 1985. Very few items have any backstamps other than USA. For that reason, I don't carry many patterns.

Blue Willow

The Scio Pottery Blue Willow pattern is pretty typical of all the blue willow patterns, consisting of trees, pagodas, streams and birds done in blue on a cream background. Because it is transfer ware, there is some inconsistencies in the patterns and in depth of color.
