Castleton - Dinnerware

Castleton China began in 1901 with the Shenango and New Castle Pottery Companies in New Castle, Pennsylvania. "Castleton China, Inc." began manufacturing china in 1939. The company produced their fine china until 1974.


Bristol

Castleton's Bristol china has a cream background with a wreath of green and gold leaves and gold trim. The pattern was produced from 1958 to 1962.

Flair

Castleton's Flair pattern has a platinum trim with grey on cream. The design features a Johnny Jump-up-like flower in pink with grey leaves. It was in production from 1957 to 1971.

Gloria

Castleton produced the pattern Gloria from 1941 to 1972. This china has a cream background with taupe roses and a gold rim. There is also a blue line running around the border.

King Edward

Castleton King Edward pattern has a cream background with gold trim and a red laurel pattern in the center.

Museum White

Castleton Museum White is actually a solid cream-colored dinnerware designed by Eva Zeisel. It was produced from 1958 to 1972.

Shell Pink

Shell Pink by Castleton was produced from 1958 to 1966. It features a wide pink border on an off-white backgroun and platinum trim.

Trousseau

Castleton produced the Trousseau pattern from 1958 to 1966. It featured a cream an off-white background, broad pink border and a platinum trim. It was decorated with white flowers and grey leaves.
